The system uses injectors with seven orifices and pressures as high as 1600 bar to achieve extremely rapid response times and minimise fuel consumption. The results of this are superior performance in all conditions, increased productivity and low noise emissions, for minimal impact on the environment and on the local community.
Dual electronically controlled injection pumps embedded in the cylinder block and lubricated with engine oil, and an innovative new combustion chamber geometry contribute to maximising power output while reducing fuel consumption.
The electronic engine governor analyses and processes information received from the engine, an array of sensors and input from the operator in real time, to deliver only the amount of power effectively needed.
The 7146 cm³ six cylinder twenty-four valve TIER III turbo-intercooled engines deliver extraordinary power in all conditions to cater for any application.
Powershift transmission: extraordinary performance.
The transmission offers twenty-four powershift speeds, with twelve speeds dedicated to applications in the field (at speeds up to 19 km/h) and twelve for road transport usage.
The Powershift transmission equipping the Agrotron L ensures seamless drive from 0 km/h to a top speed of 60 km/h (or 50 km/h at 1700 rpm or 40 km/h at 1450 rpm, where speed is limited electronically to 40/50 km/h in compliance with local legislation) with no interruption in power transmission.
In addition to this is the APS automatic transmission control system, which uses an electronic control unit to determine and select the ideal ratio in relation to conditions, load and engine speed, and a hydraulic reverse shuttle with dual multiplate wet clutches.
A PTO for every need.
The rear PTO offers a choice of two speeds as standard (540ECO and 1000 rpm) to cater for a wide spectrum of applications.
An electrohydraulically engaged clutch ensures that the PTO starts progressively and gently.
The PTO may be engaged and disengaged automatically to prevent incorrect usage when working with the rear lift.
The 1000 rpm front PTO is driven directly by the engine and may be engaged progressively and electrohydraulically by simply pressing a button.
Powerful, dependable hydraulics.
The most outstanding characteristic of the hydraulic system in the Agrotron L is its power: a 113 l/min pump feeds an incredible seven auxiliary distributors.
The load sensing function continuously varies hydraulic power and delivery rate in response to input from the joystick to maintain constant pressure.
Push-pull hydraulic connectors are used, allowing hydraulic lines to be coupled even if the system is pressurised.
An electronically controlled rear lift is also available, with load capacity up to 10,000 k.
The stable front axle, generous 2.98 metre wheelbase and 55 degree steering angle ensure superlative manoeuvrability and precise steering action.
Electrohydraulically engaged, robust front wheel drive system and 100% lockable differentials for maximum grip even in the most challenging conditions.
Extraordinary traction in the field is ensured by the electronic ASM system, which is activated from a button on the multifunction armrest and uses an array of sensors and an electronic control unit to automatically engage and disengage the front wheel drive and differential locks in relation to vehicle speed and steering angle.
On models with wheel slippage control, the ASM system automatically engages the differential locks when slippage exceeds 25%.
Superlative safety in all conditions: electromechanical EPB (Electronic Parking Brake) and Power Brake system for immediate, powerful and perfectly controlled stopping action. The Power Brake system also includes an auxiliary emergency accumulator which allows up to ten stops even with the engine off.

An extremely spacious panoramic cab: three cubic metres of interior volume and 1.64 metres of width at the beltline; the curved screen and windows offer outstanding visibility both when working in the field and when driving on the road.
To simplify sequences of operations, and repetitive sequences in particular, the on-board computer offers the unique “comfortip” function. This is an efficient system that lets the driver store sequenced of up to sixteen operations using the multi-function joystick, and recall them when needed with a simple touch of the lever.
